You develop and submit your own research proposal through the SGSSS open competition.

2. Supervisor-Led Projects

You apply to a pre-defined research project led by a supervisor within the university.

  2. Applications are reviewed and shortlisted competitively

  3. Only shortlisted candidates are considered for the CoSS PhD Scholarship

  4. Successful applicants must also secure formal admission into the PhD programme
