Eligibility Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Required:
Master's degree (or equivalent second-cycle degree)
Must include a written thesis/research component
Degree must qualify for PhD admission in the country of completion
All studies (including the thesis) must be completed by the end of the application period
Institution Recognition:
Must be from an officially recognized institution
Must have a degree-conferring authority
Verified by the official authorizing body of the country
Language Proficiency
Required: Academic-level proficiency in ONE of:
Finnish
Swedish
English
Can demonstrate in any language regardless of thesis language
Acceptable proof:
Previous degree in the language
Language test (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
